2015 24 hours of Charlotte

One of the biggest endurance races in the US is the 24 hours of Charlotte (Victory Lane Karting, Charlotte, North Carolina). Each year in the beginning of January a lot of top American drivers battle for the trophy.

This year’s top 3:
P1. Schwaben Racing (Fred Ogrim, Bavarian Mike, Jordan Pembleton, Hans Martin Soneson, Michael Ibach, Martin Hanhardt (Germany))
P2. Lehigh Valley Grand Prix (Mike Bednar, Kyle Lick, Kevin Bligan, Carl Bligan, Ryan Suchon & Jianni Koburi)
P3. CalSpeed Staff (Mike Smith, KC Cook, TA La, Cameron Jocelyn and Patrick Britain)

The winning team is built around local driver Jordan Pembleton, who’s not unknown in the international scene – he competed in the 2009 IKWC in Macaé (Brazil).
They took a dominating victory finishing over 3 laps in front of the second place finisher.

Other top USA drivers were gathered by CalSpeed to form team Sport Kart-USA, and finished in fourth position: Mike Smith, Taylor Hays, Darren Mercer, Bryan Armbrust, Ryan Curtin and Nick Johnston.
