PIKC 2016

Last weekend, it was time again for the PIKC, the Polish Indoor Kart Championship which is also the national qualifier for the Kart World Championship for Poland. Once again it turned out to be a great event. Sold out very quickly, with a high level participation field.

Once again, the event took place at Silver Hotel & Gokart Center (Szczecin, Poland).

After 5 qualifier rounds, 3 semi finals and the final race it was last year’s runner up (and 2014’s winner) that won the master class; Sebastian Papke .
The whole weekend he showed his speed on the track. In second place, we have his compatriot Christian Wolf . Third place is for last year’s winner; Ruben Boutens .

In the Women class, it was Selina Balneger who took victory. Mellanie Motz finished second after local driver Edyta Pałeczka . All women got a proper cup to take home. Selina gets a discount for participation in next year’s edition as an extra.

In the Junior class, Tristan Földesi took the victory. Rico Haarbosch (last year’s winner) finished second before Thom van Dijck who took 3th place. All three of them got a free entry for next year.

In the master class, Arthur Pel took victory. Second place is for Andre Lohse , 3th place for a Polish driver (name unknown to us at the moment, and the detailed full results are still missing).

In the class for the Polish drivers (to get the KWC ticket), it was also Arthur Pel that took the victory. Matt Bartsch finished second and youngster Michał Ryndzionek took 3th place.
