This first edition took place at Hurricane Karting in Dolhain. This track is known to have very small kart differences and has experience with organising some big sprint championships and endurances.

The championship started with 5 qualifier rounds. Each a race of 18 laps, preceded by a 1-hotlap qualification.
Every race you had to take 1 pitstop and in the end, one result could be dropped.

Drivers had to weigh 90 kgs at all times.
30 drivers competed in this event, which is a bit less than hoped for, but it was still a very competitive field!
During these rounds several drivers were able to take podium places, so the level was very strong.

After the qualifier rounds, the ranking was as followed:

With only the top 10 going to the final, there was still a lot that could change with the semi finals ahead.
In the end, after the semi finals, the top 10 stayed the same, except for Tristan Földesi who lost his spot to the final to Mats de Jong. He only missed it with 1 point. Also Ward Maenhout, Bastien Cabrera and Sam Spinnael came close to a final spot with only missing 5, 7 and 9 points from the 10th place.

For the final an unseen format was used. Every driver would do 10 hotlaps with 10 different karts. The laptimes are counted together and the winner is the fastest driver. Also depending on the position in the ranking the drivers got some bonus time to take into account.
